Prototype conflicts with jQuery in 5.3

Description

We have upgraded to 5.3 on our dev machines. The upgrade went fine, but the 5.3 has broken all our web sites.

Indeed, we use jQuery on all our portals and all the jQuery calls are now broken. It looks like it is linked to a conflict with the the Protopype library. If we disable the protopype script insert in includes/display_object/htmlhead/prototype.cfm, the problem is corrected.

The prototype.js is inserted in all pages even when we are not logged in. Is it a bug or a correct behaviour ? (it was not the case in 5.2)
